Spring Forage and Grazing Field Day

Join us for a Spring Forage and Grazing Field Day on April 14, 2016. The event is hosted by Swallow Hill Farm and is co-hosted by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Hanover-Caroline Soil and Water District (SWCD) and the Virginia Forage and Grasslands Council (VFGC).
This informative event will provide educational presentations and opportunities to see the variety of projects underway at Swallow Hill Farm. Attendees will be able to see a rotational grazing demonstration, pasture raised poultry (meat chickens), and free range chicken egg production.
