This brief video presents information about Swallow Hill Farm's efforts to raise high quality grass fed, pasture finished beef while taking many steps to improve water quality and the overall environment. Intensive rotational grazing, as practiced on the farm, can help to sequester carbon in the soil and is a farming method that produces high quality "artisan" beef and chicken. Both livestock exclusion fencing and a water distribution system have been installed on the farm with the support of the Caroline-Hanover Soil and Water Conservation District and the Virginia Grasslands Council.
